I began doing art before I knew what it was or that I was doing art. Before the age of 10 I was making brightly colored pot holders and selling them door to door in Summit, New Jersey. I collected and exhibited butterflies. I collected coins and stamps. In my teens I made wire hand puzzles and chinese secret boxes I painted in colorful stripes. I made plaster casts with rubber moulds. In my late teens I took up black and white photography. I paid my way through law school taking college graduation photos. I photographed the 1967 and 1969 marches on Washington DC as well as Woodstock.
Here are sections on my early photography, drawing, painting and sculpture.
