I have drawn from life since 1971 and have amassed many thousands of drawings.  Like Turner, I often color my drawings later.  I use water color crayons on many drawings.  Many of my portraits are small caricatures, done at parties, or other gatherings, using pencil, pen and water color crayons on small to medium size drawing pads.  Others are formal, done in my studio.  Here are some examples:

PORTRAIT DRAWINGS

          I began drawing portraits, starting with a few self portraits in about 1972 and have continued ever since.  They are done from life, not from photographs.  I use water color crayons for color.  I have hundreds of portraits of friends and acquaintances.  Here is a slide show of selected portrait drawings.
